Residential Recycling Service in Rockton
Household recycling is unlimited. Each household is supplied with a 65-gallon recycling toter, specifically designed to handle various recyclable materials efficiently. It is important to note that trash cans are not an acceptable alternative for storing or setting out recycling. Using the designated toter ensures proper collection and processing, supporting the community's commitment to sustainable practices. Replacement totes are available for $75.
Recyclables should be placed loose in the container. They should not be bagged and no plastic bags should be included in the recycling tote.
Cardboard should be broken down to 3 ft. x 3 ft. or smaller and bundled if excessive. Do not cram other items into cardboard boxes.
Yard Waste Removal Service in Rockton
Seasonal household yard waste service takes place each year from April through November. Collection of yard waste - grass clippings, leaves and small branches from a residential property is unlimited.
All trimmings from bushes and small tree branches need to be bundled in 3 ft lengths with branches no thicker than 1inch in diameter and not weighing over 25 lbs.
No plastic bags of any kind will be accepted for pick up. There is a 50 lb. weight limit for all paper bags or cans with an X to mark them as yard waste.
